Simmtronics 10.1" Xpad X1010 Tablet with Android 4.0

Simmtronics has added another tablet to its XPAD range named as the XPAD X1010, which is now available in all leading stores for Rs. 8,449 making it the cheapest 10.1" tablet in the market.

The tablet runs on Android 4.0 (ICS) and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex-A8 processor along with dual Mali-400 graphics processor. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (32GB of expandable). The tablet is fuelled by a 5600mAh battery and offers HDMI support too.The XPAD X1010 sports a 10.1-inch TFT LCD 5-point multi-touch capacitive display with a 1024x600 pixel resolution. The tablet features a VGA front camera. There is no rear camera on the tablet. The tablet offers multiple connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and HDMI.

Prior to this, the company has launched two tablets namely the XPAD X-720, which is a 7-inch tablet with only Wi-Fi connectivity and is available for Rs 4,600 and the XPAD X-801, an 8-inch display calling tablet that comes with a free detachable keyboard and costs Rs 8,449.

The pros of this tablet are obviously the large screen, the hardware that can run most apps, the HDMI-out that can play back Full HD content on a big screen, and a high capacity battery that should provide good backup time. Probably the only visible con is the screen with not-so-densely-packed pixels. However, this is really worth the price
